Can I Change A Vehicle Title With A Power Of Attorney?

The man that gave me poa had signed a bail bond on a girl that never went to court…4 months ago. The bond company wants the money. Can I change the car title into my name with the poa?

most power of attorney’s are set up with a list of what can be done and what can’t.
The power of attorney must be specific. If it states the bail bonds have rights then they must get new title in their name then turn over the vehilcle like a normal sale.
If the power of attorney doesn’t specifically state that the car is involved they cannot.
However if it is a general power of attorney giving the bail bonds right to sign anything for the girl then they can just sell the car
